The need for senior care especially for the frail elderly continues to grow as the population in the Houston area ages. According to the Texas Data Center, Houston’s 60-plus population will grow by 128.3% within the next 20 years.
The goal of the program is to prevent the early institutionalization of seniors and disabled adults by maintaining their independent living in the community. Established in 1993, the program is licensed by the state of Texas as a Day Activity and Health Services Facility.
Adult Daycare Program include:
- Transportation to and from the client´s place of residence.
- Transportation and escort services to medical facilities and doctor`s appointments.
- Staff Registered Nurse monitors client´s health and coordinates health services.
- State certified Activities Coordinator organizes social activities and exercise program.
- Nutritious meals consisting of continental breakfast and hot noon meal.
- Assistance with feeding and other personal care needs for disables clients.
THIS PROGRAM FOR THE PAST THREE YEARS IS CLOSED FOR INSUFICIENT FUNDS. WE ARE LOOKING FOR FUNDS TO RE-OPEN.
