The Latino Learning Center cordially invites you to celebrate its 45th anniversary with the Humanitarian Awards Luncheon “Celebrating Presidents & CEO’s” recognizing angels without wings around us who, on their daily agenda, create a positive impact in the life of others. This event will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at Grand Foyer Wortham Theater Center from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
As in past years, this event recognizes leaders, executives, companies and government officials for their philanthropic work and contributions to our community and serves as the primary fundraiser for Latino Learning Center to continue its mission of providing adult education programs and human support services for the elderly, veterans, and disabled across Houston. As a non-profit organization, our work is supported exclusively by the goodwill and sponsorship of prominent leaders, such as you.
Each year on average, 450 adults at the LLC receive training in programs we offer in HVAC, residential and commercial electrical, and English as a second language. As a non-profit organization, financial contributions have been a significant component in helping us rebuild and remodel our programs since we started back in 1979. In partnership with the Houston Food Bank, we have a food drive twice a month to serve the communities around us.
Latino Learning Center is indeed an incredible organization. Please note that the founder is a highly honored and decorated War World II veteran. This tribute recognizes and honors great women, man, community leaders, Presidents and CEOs, great companies, and US veterans for their philanthropic work, great hearts, and passion for helping local and nationwide communities. This is the most important Humanitarian event in the State of Texas, Harris County, and the City of Houston and is a great opportunity for exposure and marketing, you cannot miss it!
